It’s that time of the year and on 2nd July, Net Consulting welcomed customers and partners to the Wales National Course at The Vale Resort for The NCL Corporate Golf Day 2019.
This years competition was looking to be more competitive that ever with a record 40 golfers taking to the course, it did not disappoint. Thankfully neither did the weather, as sunshine and blue skies were the order or the day which has become a trademark of the event, a welcome change from local weather the past few weeks. After 18 holes, there were a lot of impressive scores but taking home the Stableford prize sponsored by Riverbed it was Kris Angland from Cardiff Devils with a huge 43 points off a handicap of 5.
Other prizes on the day were scooped up by Mark Selby from Flamingo Law, winning the Longest Drive competition sponsored by Juniper Networks for his impressive drive up the hill on the 4th and Jamie Bryant from Onecom, for his fantastic tee shot on the 14th leaving his ball less than a half a foot from the hole. Last but certainly not least, proudly collecting the 2019 Longest Walk award was Net Consulting’s very own Tom Lyne, who will now have his skills honed in on by one of the PGA professional at The Vale.
Following the golf, guests enjoyed a beautiful 3 course meal served at The Vale Golf Club, building on relationships formed through the event and reminiscing on the days highlights. We would like to thank all who attended, our partners Riverbed, Juniper and Gigamon, also Behind the Lens Media for their coverage of the day and putting together the highlight video below.
Our next golfing event will be our Charity Golf Day in September supporting ABF The Soldiers Charity, we look forward hosting friends of Net Consulting once again and raising money for a fantastic cause that is close to our hearts.
