Service Assessment

Quantify the current state of the infrastructure & service usage. Determine overall network bandwidth consumption, individual service bandwidth consumption, number of user PCs per service and response times. The assessment can be made before service deployment to define a detailed “starting point”, and can be made after deployment to identify the impact on the infrastructure, or verify the performance & usage predictions made.

Service Performance Estimation & Modelling

Accurately predict service performance based on a transactional analysis of the application while in the testing stage. The same transactional data can be used to help build a model of infrastructure bandwidth requirements. This provides some measurable targets which assists in attaining Change Control Board approval to go ahead with a service deployment, and also assist in defining SLA values.
